Inscription. In 1993 nonprofit leaders Jean Sloan (Child Care Action Council) and Kathy Jordan (Olympia Early Learning Center) led efforts to transform Olympia's 1912 City Hall/Fire Station into a resource center for families. We are grateful for the leadership of these remarkable women and the volunteers they inspired, and we carry on their good work on behalf of local children and families.
