1. Windley House Marker
Inscription. Craftsman style bungalow formerly located at 12 N 9th Street constructed for John Jerome Windley (1875-1957), native of Beaufort County, NC, secretary-treasurer C.W. Polvogt Company; and wife, Martha Lucille Frederick (1880-1969), native of Faison, NC. Owned as investment property by Samuel and Clara Warshauer from 1925 to 1985. Relocated to present location in 1986.
