1. Allen and Anna Love House Marker
Inscription. Colonial Revival style house built for Allen B. Love (1882-1952); and wife, Anna Trimble Love (1886-1958), both natives of Tennessee. Allen was an editor for the Atlantic Coast Line News and an ACL employee for over thirty-three years. Anna was a long-time board member of North Carolina Sorosis and early curator of the New Hanover County Museum. They owned the house for twenty-four years.
