1. Hopkins House Marker
Inscription. Colonial Revival style house built for Benjamin T. Hopkins (1870-1961), native of Accomac, VA and district manager of Life Insurance Company of Virginia; and wife, Josephine Kelley (1874-1953), native of New Jersey. Purchased in 1959 by Edwin B. Josey (1885-1973), native of Scotland Neck, NC, lawyer; and wife, Atha Hicks (1888-1979), elementary school teacher.
