1. The Mason Jar Marker
Inscription. By 1907, the Centerville Post Office had moved to this building from the north side of the square. The post office moved down the street in 1926. Young's Department Store opened here in 1949, moving to a larger building a few doors down in 1952. Quillen's Dress Shop was the next occupant, followed by Virginia's Dress Shop, and the Klothes Kloset in 1973. Christine Huddleston opened The Side Door Gift Shop here around 1984 and closed it in 1993. Caroline's Flowers and Gifts occupied the building in 1995. Hair Reflections occupied the space beginning around 2004, and Tennessee Wireless opened their business here around 2011. The building was sold to HCTN Properties in 2019. 3 Girls Burgers opened in the newly renovated building in 2021, closing in 2023. The Mason Jar moved into the building in 2023.
