1. Tank Memorial Marker
Het Tank Memorial Ypres Salient, opgericht op 10 oktober 2009, herdenkt de bemanning van de Tank Corps en van de Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps die gevallen zijn gedurende de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Het is het enige Britse tankmonument in België. Ook wordt het enige Royal Tank Regiment slachtoffer die in de Ypres Salient sneuvelde tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog hier herdacht.
Op het monument bevindt zich een originele pantserplaat van een Britse MK4 tank.
Ingesloten kun je een register en een plan op schaal vinden van hoe de bemanning in de tank zat.
Le Tank Memorial Ypres Salient, érigé le 10 octobre 2009, rappelle les équipages du Tank Corps et du Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps qui sont tombés au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale. C'est le seul monument aux chars britanniques en Belgique.
La seule victime du Royal Tank Regiment qui fut tuée dans le Saillant d'Ypres au cours de la Deuxième Guerre, mondiale est aussi commémorée ici.
Sur le monument se trouve une plaque de blindage d'origine d'un char britannique MK4.

The Tank Memorial Ypres Salient, installed on 10 October 2009, commemorates the men of the Tank Corps and of the Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps who fell during World War I. It is only the British tank monument in Belgium.
It also commemorates the only Royal Tank Regiment victim who fell in the Ypres Salient during World War II.
The monument bears an original armoured plate from a British MK4 tank.

Das Tank Memorial Ypres Salient, errichtet am 10. Oktober 2009, gedenkt den Männern des Tank Corps und des Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps, die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallen sind. Es ist das einzige britische Panzerdenkmal in Belgien.
Zudem wird dem einzigen Royal Tank Regiment-Opfer gedacht, das im Zweiten Weltkrieg im Ypernbogen fiel.
Am Denkmal befindet sich eine Originakpanzerplatte eines britischen MK4-Panzers.
