Captain Brandon L. Cyr
September 16, 1984 - Woodbridge, Virginia
April 27, 2013 Kandahar, Afghanistan

Captain Cyr was assigned to the 906th Air Refueling Squadron, Scott AFB, Illinois as an instructor for the KC-135 tanker. He earned more than 1,700 combat flying hours and is a recipient of one Meritorious Service Medal, five Air Medals, and one Achievement Medal. Captain Cyr is remembered for his sense of humor, thoughtfulness and dedication to the Air Force.

Captain Reid K. Nishizuka
January 29, 1983 Honolulu, Hawaii
April 27, 2013 - Kandahar, Afghanistan

Captain Nishizuka was assigned to the 427th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB, California as a pilot for the MC-12 aircraft. He was a decorated pilot who served our country with honor and bravery and flew more than 2,400 combat flying hours. Captain Reid was awarded ten Air Medals, two Air Force Commendation Medals, and two Air Force Achievement Medals. He is remembered as a kind, loving, and deeply compassionate man.

Staff Sergeant Fannin was assigned to the 552d Operations Support Squadron at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. He was qualified as

an Air Surveillance Technician Instructor and accumulated more than 2,000 combat flying hours. Sergeant Fannin was awarded three Air Medals, one Air Force Commendation Medal, and one Air Force Achievement Medal. He is remembered as a loving, Christian man, dedicated to his family.

Staff Sergeant Richard A. Dickson
May 7, 1988 Rancho Cordova, California
April 27, 2013 Kandahar, Afghanistan

Staff Sergeant Dickson was assigned to the 306th Intelligence Squadron, Beale AFB, California. He was qualified as an Airborne Tactical Systems Operator on the MC-12 aircraft. Sergeant Dickson accumulated more than 1,400 combat flying hours and was awarded seven Air Medals. He is remembered for unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
