1. Tank Memorial Ypres Salient Marker
In honour of the WW 1 Tank Corps and former Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps tank soldiers who lost their lives within the infamous Ypres Salient during WW I and are commemorated by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in Belgium,
These gallant men fought an equally brave resilient and determined enemy as well as the quagmire of the battlefield itself.
By the conclusion of 1917 the Ypres Salient had acquired a new name
