1. Mohn-Hartley House Marker
Inscription. Craftsman style bungalow built as investment property for Jesse James Mohn (1903-1967), native of Pender County, salesman and bail bondsman; and wife, Ruth Vestus Gore (1917-1993), native of Columbus County. Purchased in 1952 by Harvey Hill Hartley (1920-1993), native of Boone, NC, proprietor of Hartley's Texaco Service: and wife, Lucille Talman (1921-2014). Remained in family for sixty-two years.
