1. Peter Hill Heritage Park Marker
Inscription. Peter Hill served on the Rocklin City Council for almost 30 years when the city grew from 7,000 to 58,000. He was Mayor six times and is the longest serving council member in city history.

He was a strong advocate for comprehensive long term planning to guide Rocklin growth.

Concerned about the older part of town, he led the effort to install sidewalks in the older residential neighborhoods. He also supported city involvement in preserving the downtown heritage area, creation of the history museum, building the train station and the restoration of Finn Hall, historic City Hall and St. Mary's church.

Erected 2015 by City of Rocklin.
