1. Woodward House Marker
Inscription. Prairie style house built for Charles W. Woodward (1871-1939), chief clerk to supervisor of fuel, Atlantic Coast Line Railroad; and wife, Molly Levy (1872-1932). From 1918 to 1945 residence of Charles Maurice Butler (1863-1944), vice-president of Carolina Building & Loan Association and fuel agent for Atlantic Coast Line Railroad; and wives, Edith Crawford (1865-1926) and May Belle Lane (1878-1941). House remained in family until 1944.
