Inscription.
The south hall of this building was first occupied by the Coffee Club Association which was dedicated to establishing places for refreshment without liquor or tobacco. From 1917 to 1954, Crane's Panama Lunchroom, known as Panama Cafι to the regular patrons, was a popular restaurant here. The north hall of the building was used as a sporting goods shop.
