1. Swinson-Snow House Marker
Inscription. Craftsman style bungalow built for Albert Franklin Swinson (1883-1954), native of Sampson County, clerk with the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad; and wife, Mary W. Blair (1888-1934). Purchased in 1945 by Harry Francis Snow (1903-1980), native of Dupage County, Illinois, bank teller at Peoples Savings Bank and Trust Company and Wachovia Bank; and wife, Christine Hope Walker (1911-1983), native of Burgaw, NC and sales woman at Younger Set and Belk-Beery. The house remained in the family for forty-eight years.
