Kampfpanzer sind so schwer, dass sie im Falle eines Defekts meist nur mit speziellen Bergepanzern geborgen werden können. Dieser amerikanische M32 Bergepanzer stammt aus der Zeit des 2. Weltkrieg. Beim M32 wurde das Fahrgestell eines M4 A1 Sherwan Kampfpanzers mit einem Kran und Winden versehen.

Battle tanks are so heavy that, in case of a defect, they can usually only be salvaged by special tank recovery vehicles. This American M32 tank recovery vehicle is from the time of World War II. For the M32 the chassis of a Sherman M4 A1 battle tank was equipped with a crane and winches.

2. M32 Armored Recovery Vehicle and Marker
during World War II and the Korean War by the United States, and was based on the chassis of the M4 Sherman medium tank. During World War II, the British also used several hundred M32s, which were obtained through Lend-Lease in 1944. The first four prototypes were produced in January 1943, labeled T5, T5E1, T5E2, T5E3, and T5E4.
