1. Club Fe en el Porvenir / Club Faith in the Future Marker
Inscription.  
Construido en 1908 como sociedad recreativa y cultural Fe en el Porvenir. Es el único edificio de tres pisos en madera de estilo victoriano existente en la ciudad. Su techo es de zinc de tipo mansard en diferentes ángulos con buhardillas y balcones. La segunda planta tiene una galería corrida en forma de escuadra, única en su género. En la tercera planta sobresalen los balcones con sus frontales en forma de abanicos.

En el año 1985 esta propiedad pasa al Estado dominicano y se establece en ella la oficina provincial del Ministerio de Cultura, compartiendo el uso de su espacio para el desarrollo de actividades culturales abiertas al público.

Esta estructura se restauró en 1991 bajo la dirección del arquitecto Roberto Bergés, siendo, junto al edificio del Ayuntamiento, uno de los monumentos arquitectónicos e históricos que sobreviven al conjunto original de cuatro edificaciones que bordeaban el parque Independencia a principios del siglo XX.

standing in the city. Its roof is mansard type in zinc at different angles with dormers and balconies. Downstairs the floor and the walls are made of concrete. The second floor has a unique veranda fronting the square. The third floor balconies have wooden fan-shaped fronts.

In 1985 the property passed to state ownership and the Ministry of Culture opened its provincial office there. The building is also frequently used for cultural events.

The building was restored in 1991 under the direction of architect Roberto Bergés. Along with the City Hall, it is one of the architectural and historical monuments that remain of the four buildings that framed the Independence Park at the turn of the 20th Century.
