Op d๋ser Kaart vum "blocus de Luxembourg", gezeechent 1683 vun engem onbekannten Offiz้ier bei der Belagerung vun der Festung L๋tzebuerg duerch de Mar้chal de Cr้qui am Jor 1683, war beim Wee iwwer de Kapellebierg schon eng Kapell agezeechent. D้i Kapell ass verschwonnen.
No 1800, zu dไr Zไit wou d'Napoleonsstross e neie Wee iwwer de Kapellebierg an den Cents an d'Festung opgemaach huet, gouf bei de Gebaier vun der Baamschoul Mousel eng nei Kapell als Prozessiounsaltor gebaut. D้i stoung do bis Enn 2005. Beim Haus Nummer 24 um Kapellebierg leit e Steen vum Altor am Buedem fir ze weisen, wou d้i zweet Kapell stung.
D'Sandweiler Gemeng huet d๋s modern Kapell um Kapellebierg no engem Plang vum Architekt ฤnder Wildschutz bauen gelooss.
At the Church of St. Weiler there is a detachment from Picardy
On this map of the "blocus de Luxembourg", drawn in 1683 by an unknown officer during the siege of the fortress of Luxembourg by Marshal de Cr้qui in 1683, a chapel was already marked on the way over the Kapellebierg. The chapel has disappeared.
After 1800, when the Napoleonsstrasse opened a new route over the Kapellebierg and the Cents to the fortress, a new chapel was built as a processional altar near the buildings of the Mousel nursery. It stood there until the end of 2005. At house number 24 on the Kapellebierg, a stone from the altar lies in the ground to show where the second chapel stood.
The Sandweiler municipality had this modern chapel built on the Kapellebierg according to a plan by the architect ฤnder Wildschutz.
Erected by Gemeng Sandweiler.
