Alkmaar - Brescia - Gyönk - Liepāja - Płock - Szeged - Trondheim - Troyes - Uzhgorod

Auch in diesen Städten fielen tausende Jüdinnen und Juden dem Terror und den Deportationen der deutschen Besatzung zum Opfer. Wir gedenken ihrer in Trauer.

In memory of the Jewish victims of the German occupation during the Second World War in today's sister cities of Darmstadt:

Alkmaar (Netherlands) - Brescia (Italy) - Gyönk (Hungary) - Liepaja (Latvia) - Płock (Poland) - Szeged (Hungary) - Trondheim (Norway) - Troyes (France) - Uzhgorod (Ukraine)

In these cities, too, thousands of Jews fell victim to the terror and deportations of the German occupation. We remember them with sadness.

Location. 49° 52.429′ N, 8° 38.76′ E. Memorial is in Darmstadt, Hessen (Hesse). It is in Rheintor/Grafenstraße. It can be reached from Bleichstraße. The memorial is on the grounds of the Klinikum Darmstadt hospital complex. There is a walkway leading from the north side of Bleichstrasse into the complex.
