Excerpt: The First National Bank of Pawnee was established on February 8, 1894, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, originally operating under that name. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its operational location, moving its main office to Main Street in Pawnee on February 23, 1990, and then to 601 Harrison Street in Pawnee on December 2, 1999. The bank continued to operate until it ultimately merged with First Bank & Trust Company from Perry, Oklahoma, on February 14, 2020, marking the end of its independent operations.
1894-02-08 Institution established. Original name: The First National Bank of Pawnee.
1990-02-23 Main Office moved to Main Street, Pawnee, OK 74058.
1999-12-02 Main Office moved to 601 Harrison Street, Pawnee, OK 74058.
2020-02-14 Merged and became part of First Bank & Trust Company in Perry, OK.
