1. Phillips-Bremond-Houston House Marker
Inscription. Built by master builder Abner Cook for Dr. William C. Phillips in 1855, this Greek Revival house has been home to many Bremonds. Eugene Bremond, who purchased it in 1866, was the first Bremond to occupy it. Hale and Hallie Bremond Houston, who lived here from 1915 to 1969, were the last.
