Silver Reef Saloon - Washington County News
Inscription.
This building had its birth as a saloon in Silver Reef in 1880. It moved to this location after the reef's boom days, and housed the Washington County News from 1898-1986. The first editor was John Wallis, who printed the paper until 1900. It has been used as a publishing business to this day.
