Inscription. Money was a rare commodity so church members paid their ten percent tithe in kind - eggs, butter, chickens, etc. Distribution of the tithes was overseen by bishop James McArthur. In 1924 the store house was closed when cash for tithings was available. The bishop bought it and turned it into the ‘Quality Bakery’ which remained from 1926-1960. In 1995 Andrew McArthur, son of James, had it remodeled to resemble the original bishop's store house.
