1. Burnett-Minor House Marker

Inscription. Mediterranean style house built for Richard Tate Burnett (1901-1992), assistant superintendent of Standard Oil Company of New Jersey and owner of Burnett's Service Stations; and wife, Virginia S. Perkins (1905-1979). Owned variously by other families until purchased in 1984 by Gill Minor, M.D., emergency room physician at New Hanover Regional Medical Center; and wife, Pamela C. Minor, MSW. The house remains in the family.
