1. Cumming-Walker House Marker

Inscription. Cottage built as investment property for William M. Cumming (1860-1922), native of Greensboro, realtor; and wife, Susie Cooper (1865-1933), native of New Castle, KY. Purchased in 1927 by Joel Calvin Walker (1855-1936), native of Bladen County, farmer; and wife, Caroline Viola Wilkins (1867-1940), native of Columbus County. House remained in family until 1995.
