Inscription. Minimal Traditional style house built for Samuel Theophilus Gresham (1918-2002), native of Henderson, NC, owner of the STG Transport and Second World War veteran; and wife, Mary Emma Coore (1918-2002), native of Wake County, NC.

2. Gresham House Marker

National Register of Historic Places nomination for the district, which includes the Gresham House as a contributing property and was listed in 2009. 3. STG History. Samuel Theophilus Gresham Sr. founded the Safety Transport company in Greensboro, NC in 1935. Sam Sr. eventually sold his company and his son, Sam T.
