1. Delgado Mill Office Marker

Inscription. Queen Anne style office building constructed for Delgado Cotton Mill (1899-1930), established by Edwin C. Holt, North Carolina textile magnate. It is the only surviving brick building from the original mill complex. The offices remained here after the business was sold to Spofford Mills (1930-1967).

2. Delgado Mill Office Marker

The final report of a study into potential expansion of the Wilmington Historic District and possible creation of a new district around the former mill site. The existing district was later enlarged, but no Delgado Mill village district has been formed. Note: The section on the mill begins on page 12. (Prepared by David E.
