This special space is dedicated by the Wesleyan community & Board of Trustees in tribute to WVWC's longtime VP for administration & finance, Dr. Barry Pritts, who for a decade provided excellent fiscal oversight, reduced debt, guided the completion of numerous facilities & projects, & advanced our College in so many ways.

Good To Great Way
The dedication of this stretch of sidewalk from Meade Street to Railroad Avenue serves as the City of Buckhannon's lasting tribute to Dr. Pamela Balch, who as President of Wesleyan from 2006 - 2016 inspired numerous collaborative projects between our College, City, and Buckhannon-Upshur community.

This space was renovated & rededicated as part of a collaborative sidewalk project between the City of Buckhannon & West Virginia Wesleyan College during the summer of 2016.
