1. 1213 - 1215 Main Street Marker

Inscription. This building was built in the mid 1880's, featuring beautiful cast iron moldings on the exterior. Originally, it was home to Hamilton & Scales Drug Store, with a grocery store in the east portion. The 2nd floor was once used as a dentist office in the 1880's and 90's. The town's court rooms were located here before moving across the street in 1912. This building has housed a photo gallery, a hardware store, café, attorney office and department store.
