Children’s Home Society of Idaho. Historical Timeline. By the 1930’s the good work being done at Children’s Home was well-known throughout the state of Idaho. The plight of helpless children in need triggered true compassion from even the most disinterested. , Through diligent communication, spreading the message of the Children’s Home’s mission, Children’s Home superintendents and field representatives generated community involvement and support from church groups, schools, lodges, clubs, and individuals throughout the state of Idaho. One method of consistent communication the Children’s Home relied on was the semi-annual publication the Idaho Children’s Home Finder., The publication served as a newsletter and aided fundraising efforts by giving imagery and faces to the stories heard around the state.
