Regarding Willow Springs Honor Roll. While it could not be fully confirmed, the honor roll appears to honor area veterans who participated in World War II. The two women at the end of the list were members of WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service), a Navy program during World War II that assigned women to non-combat roles.
