The Center for Culture and Performing Arts and the Promenade were established through the generosity of Benjamin and Frances Sperling.

Thanks to Scandinavia is dedicated to serve as a reminder of the humanity and bravery of the people, the government and the churches of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden in rescuing people of the Jewish faith from the Holocaust.
