Quiet Dell School and Museum
Welcome! The bell of this landmark public school first rang for its pupils in 1922. In constant use since, the school is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Initially, students in eight grades studied here and early school 4-H clubs met here in the 1920s.
In 1935 the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) established Camp Harrison on the site. This camp was one of 67 in West Virginia during the New Deal era. A museum on site recognizes the many achievements of the CCC program across the state and honors the memory of CCC participants everywhere.
