1. Davenport City Hall Marker
Davenport City Hall was built in 1927 in the Mediterranean Revival style by Streater Brothers Construction Company of Lakeland, Florida at a cost of $15,054.00. The architectural firm, Scroggs & Ewing, of Augusta, Georgia, designed the building.
When completed, the building contained administrative offices, city commission chambers, the fire house, engine room, and jail. The second story of the building consisted of an apartment, which served as the living quarters for the Police Chief and his family. The north end was originally the fire house, later becoming the Police Department. In 2002, the building became the home of the Davenport Historical Society.

The Olympic plus size pool was built in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). The work provided much needed work for unemployed Davenport citizens during the Depression. In 2018, a new Commission Chamber was built over the city pool site.
The Davenport City Pool also served as an important community space. A highlight of the city's May Festival, this pool was traditionally open Memorial Day through Labor Day and provided recreation
