Inscription. Since 1775, when our colonists first formed the new Continental Army as conscripts armed with single shot muskets, our patriotic citizens have been fighting for our freedom. At the start of WWII your Army was ranked 19th , yet we quickly built a force great enough to fight and defend the aggression of 2 superpowers.

To Today, expertly team trained, superbly equipped and armed professional volunteers, serving as larges military branch of service and the primary land base force.

Your Army, the best, most lethal Army in the world today:
• Trains men and women every day to be ready to deploy around the world when required.
• Develops and uses the latest technologies to defend enemies - fly drones, aircraft, helicopters, drive tanks, and vehicles, and use large and small weapons.
• Support the fighting soldier as a doctor, nurse, clerk, mechanic, teacher, researcher, chaplain, engineer, etc.
• Teamed with other US Services and Allies preserves peace or, when required, fight our wars.
