While being the smallest US military service, our Marines are known for being tenacious fighters on land, sea and air by conducting task-organized amphibious and ecpeditionary landings and noted for rapid deployment and employment of close air support for combined arms operations. Or moto is "Semper Fidelis" "Always faithful".

What are Marine Legacies? You don't just join the Marine Corps; you become a Marine by graduating from "boot camp," 12 weeks of intense physical and mental training led by a DI (drill instructor). It is that pride instilled by Marine training that sets Marines apart from the members of other armed services. Marines take great pride in the legacy built by those who came before them. Marines will carry it forward following the core values: honor, courage, and commitment. "Once a Marine, always a Marine. "

What are Marines's History and Customs? Marines define the world's image of elite warrior-citizens. Celebrating historical conflicts from fighting the Barbary pirates on the seas, WW I land battles, WW II amphibious landings in the Pacific, combat ops in Korea and Vietnam, urban battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan, and when our nation calls. The Corps was formed on 10 Nov 1775. Our Marine Corps is looking for a few good men and women. Semper Fi! (Marker Number M8.)

It is responsible for conducting expeditionary and amphibious operations[10] through combined arms, implementing its own infantry, artillery, aerial, and special operations forces.
