What is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? A monument dedicated to deceased US Service members whose remains have not been identified. It is located in Arlington National Cemetery overlooking Washington D.C.

How many Unknown Soldiers Remains are buried in the tomb? Three: One soldier from WWI, WWII, and Korea. No other burials in the Tomb are planned.

Who guards the tomb of the Unknown Soldier? Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Regiment, affectionately known as the "Old Guard". All are volunteers and go through a selective and rigorous process.
