This house was built in 1596.

Early 1594 the city council decided to sell the orphanage land on which only the orphanage stood, which had been a plague house until around 1570, in lots for the purpose of building houses. The proceeds would benefit the orphans.

Today this house is inhabited by Wim Huijskens and Johanna Boon.
