1. Voormalige Postkantoor / Former Post Office Marker
Vanaf 1876 was hier het Post- en Telegraafkantoor gevestigd. Het ontwerp is uitgevoerd in een eclectische bouwstijl; stijlkenmerken van de neogotiek en de neorenaissance zijn in ιιn gebouw gecombineerd. In veel Nederlandse steden verrezen dit soort postkantoren, ontworpen door de Rijksbouwmeester in zogenaamde 'postkantoren-gotiek'. Op het gietijzeren tableau in de voorgevel is het rijkswapen afgebeeld. In 2008 zijn er appartementen in het gebouw ondergebracht.
From 1876, the Post and Telegraph Office was located here. The design is executed in an eclectic architectural style; style characteristics of the neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance are combined in one building. In many Dutch cities, this type of post office was built, designed by the State Architect in so-called 'post office Gothic'. The national coat of arms is depicted on the cast iron tableau in the front facade. In 2008, the building was converted to appartment-style housing.

As you can read at the top(Submitted on March 23, 2025.)of the facade, the Post and Telegraph Office was located here from 1876. The design is executed in an eclectic architectural style, which means that stylistic features from different periods are combined in one building. You can see features of the neo-Gothic, such as the three-part fanlight of the entrance. In addition, you can see features of the neo-Renaissance, such as the stepped gable. In many Dutch cities, post offices appeared in the same state style, for example, there is a similar post office in Alkmaar. The fact that this is a state building can also be seen from the natural stone tableau in the facade on which the national coat of arms is depicted. In 2008, the building was completely renovated, after which apartments were built in it, among other things.
