Inscription. Drafted in 2005, Braun spent his entire 14-year career (2007-20) with the Brewers, finishing as the franchise's all-time home run leader (352). Named National League Rookie of the Year in 2007 and earned National League Most Valuable Player in 2011. Named an All-Star six times, won five Silver Slugger Awards and finished in the top three of MVP voting on three occasions. At the time of his retirement, ranked among franchise leaders in RBI (2nd, 1154), hits (3rd, 1963), runs (3rd, 1080), stolen bases (3rd, 216), games (4th, 1766) and batting average (4th, .296). Also led the franchise in postseason games (27), RBI (16) and batting average (.330 min. 75 PA).
