Inscription. Drafted by Milwaukee in 2004, Gallardo pitched eight seasons with the Brewers from 2007-14, earning an All-Star Selection in 2010 and finishing seventh in the National League Cy Young Award voting in 2011. Made over 30 starts in each of his final six seasons in Milwaukee, including tying for NL Lead with 33 in 2012. Posted a sub-4.00 ERA in seven of eight years with the Brewers and recorded 200-or-more strikeouts in four consecutive seasons from 2009-12. Won Silver Slugger Award in 2010, and retired with 12 career home runs, most in franchise history as a pitcher. Recorded a 2.08 ERA in four postseason starts with the Brewers. His 1,226 strikeouts were most in Brewers history as of the end of his tenure with the club, while he ranked fifth in wins (89) and ERA (3.69).
