In 1902 vestigde de firma Fünge en Schönhuth zich aan de Haarlemmerstraatweg met een bloemkwekerij. In 1903 werd bij de bloemkwekerij een karakteristieke tuinderswoning gebouwd. Bij de bouw is een thans zeldzaam wordende laat 19de-eeuwse fantasievorm toegepast.

(In 1902, the firm Fünge and Schönhuth established a flower nursery on the Haarlemmerstraatweg. In 1903, a characteristic gardener's house was built at the flower nursery. A late 19th-century fantasy form that is now becoming rare was used in the construction.)
