1. ca. 1997 HD785-3 Komatsu Dump Truck Marker

Inscription. This large dump truck was used in the gold mines of Nevada. It is classed as a 100-ton truck. Large trucks such as these are essential to the mining industry, the largest of which can haul 327 tons.

A truck this big cannot travel on the interstate. To get to Tellus, this truck was disassembled and moved on four flatbed tractor trailers from Nevada. One was used for the frame, a second for the engine and transmission, a third for the dump body, and the last for the tires.
