1. Frankford Friends School Marker
Inscription. From 1912 through 2012 the Central United Methodist Church stood on this site. The Frankford Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends recognizes that this project could not have been possible without the generosity of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Loan Fund of the United Methodist Church, the City of Philadelphia, and Frankford Group Ministry. The Frankford neighborhood is able to enjoy the fruits of this space because of the hard work, commitment to consensus, and acts of grace of the people who worked for these three fine institutions.
