The National Capital Commission of Quebec and the SITQ inaugurated the lighting of the Price Building on June 18, 2008. The lighting aims to highlight the architectural elements by creating shadows and to reflect the original color of the materials that make up this Art Deco building. The dominant feature of the concept is above all its energy-efficient component, respecting the principles of sustainable development. Light-emitting diode (LED) technology was used for the project, a first in Canada.
