Cordesville Rosenwald School
The Rosenwald Foundation provided $1,100 with the balance coming from public contributions, including $2,000 from the African American community. The original frame school burned in the 1930s and was replaced by a brick schoolhouse. Students here would go on to Dixie Training School, later known as Berkeley High School.
