1. The Pavilion Marker
Inscription. The Pavilion-featured in this 9th-Avenue North photo was erected in 1949 on the beachfront between 8th and 9th Avenues North. Razed in 2006, it was the last of a succession of Pavilions that occupied the site behind you. A more detailed history may be found on the Pavilion Historical Marker at the northeast corner of the site.
