1. James Irwin House Marker
Inscription.
Built by James Irwin, brother of Col. John Irwin, after his arrival here in 1783 from Indelone, County Tyrone, Ireland. This house was originally a log structure. James founded the village of Jacksonville and his son John, founded the town of Irwin.
 
Erected 1976 by I.N.N. Bicentennial Association.
