Regarding McGinley House. The oldest existing stone house in Monroeville is a typical example of western Pennsylvania stone architecture of the very late 18th and early 19th centuries. The home has been restored and furnished to represent a 19th century farm dwelling. The McGinley House was designated a Pittsburgh Historic Landmark in 1977.
