More about this memorial. The I.F.W.C. referenced on the marker is almost certainly the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs, a volunteer organization that was active during and after the war. It could not be firmly determined whether "Christ Church Ex-Service Club" is a different organization or a part of I.F.W.C.
