Inscription.
Rosemary is a very popular, commonly grown herb suitable for almost any garden. It is widely used in cooking to flavour many dishes but can also be used as a tonic.

Research has shown that it is rich in volatile oils making it strongly antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. As an infusion it can used to treat headaches, colic and colds; a distilled water from the flowers can be used as an eyewash.

The growing plant is said to keep insects from nearby plants and sachets of it can keep moths from clothes cupboards. It is also used in shampoos and when combined with borax, makes an excellent anti-dandruff hair wash.
