Location. 43° 7.353′ N, 79° 12.082′ W. Memorial is in Thorold, Ontario, in Niagara Region. It can be reached from Sullivan Avenue, on the right when traveling east. This concrete cairn is within Battle Of Beaverdams Park, near the north end. If you enter the north park entrance at Sullivan Street, follow the path 50 yards south to the tall stone cairn; THIS (shorter) concrete cairn is a further 25 yards south. Touch for map. More about this memorial. This concrete cairn was erected in 1923 in its original location, at Old Thorold Stone Road and Davis Road (a mile or so east). It was moved in 1976 to this location.

Regarding Beaver Dams. This cairn memorializes the British victory at the battle of Beaverdams; which took place just east of the settlement named Beaverdams (now Thorold).
